Need an Official Record?
Match the request to the Broward County custodian:
- Arrest, booking, detention, and BSO reports: request them from the BSO Public Records Unit
- Filed court cases: review Broward criminal court case records or telephone the Clerk at (954) 831-6565
- Municipal police reports: contact the city police department that created the incident record
- Statewide history and personal review: use the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Division of Criminal Justice Information Services
- Official Florida name searches: order through FDLE's State of Florida Criminal History Record Check
- Court-ordered sealing or expunction: obtain FDLE eligibility first, then file in the court that handled the case
