About Broward County Criminal History

Criminal-record access in Broward County is divided among several official custodians. The Broward Sheriff's Office, Broward Clerk of Courts, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Department of Corrections, and Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search each maintain a different kind of record. This privately operated resource helps readers locate the proper portal, counter, mailing address, or telephone line instead of treating those systems as one combined database.

Why We Built This Site

Florida offers several public access routes, but no single route answers every records question. BSO controls its booking, detention, arrest, and incident materials. Filed charges, court events, and dispositions belong to the Broward Clerk. FDLE's Division of Criminal Justice Information Services runs the central Florida criminal-history repository. State custody and registry information remain in separate official systems. The site arranges verified request methods, agency contacts, fees, and government links around the custodian that actually holds each Broward County record.

What You Will Find Here

  • Agency contacts: official request routes for BSO, the Broward Clerk, FDLE, and Florida record systems
  • Record access: ways to find and understand Broward criminal court cases
  • Florida checks: distinctions among an FDLE name search, personal review, and a legally authorized fingerprint channel
  • Record relief: the starting points for Florida court-ordered sealing or expunction and Broward filing

What We Cannot Do

This privately operated reference site is not a Florida court, BSO unit, police department, or part of FDLE. Those boundaries mean:

  • No official criminal-history check or individual record can be produced here
  • Certified court documents, rap sheets, and other official copies cannot be issued by this resource
  • Records requests, sealing papers, expunction petitions, and other filings cannot be submitted on a reader's behalf
  • Specific charges, cases, or legal options cannot be analyzed as legal advice
  • Agency fees, hours, addresses, and telephone numbers cannot be guaranteed to remain unchanged

Only the responsible custodian, such as BSO, the Broward Clerk, or FDLE, can provide an official copy. The site can identify that custodian but cannot release its records.

Search Partners

Independent providers supply search boxes found on certain pages. Each provider determines its own pricing, service terms, and results. A purchase or subscription reached through one of those tools may generate a referral payment that helps support the resource. Provider charges and result sets are outside our control, and no third-party result becomes an official Broward County or Florida record.
